Google Play Services 5.0
Play I hope you’re able to see all the exciting new stuff we’ve got added in GooglePlay services 5.0. As you already know by now, Google Play Services rocks. I’m Ankur Kotwal, and I have subbed certain Magnus, as he well, got a bit frantic with the full rocks theme. But rest assured, he’s recovering well.

We’ve also added new APIs for Google Cast, Google Drive, Google Wallet, Analytics, and Mobile Ads. Whew, let’s just dive right in. the primary new API for Google Play Services 5.0 is Android Wearable Services. With the information API, we are able to sync data between Android Wearables, and Android phones and tablets.

Finally, I can watch myTV shows late in the dead of night with the amount low, and still know what’s happening on screen. I really like the captions. The Google Drive API is getting very useful enhancements. Query results are sorted. Folders can now be created offline, and also the file picker may be filtered by mime type.

Google Analytics has introduced Enhanced E-commerce, which provides visibility into the complete customer journey. Enhanced Ecommerce allows users to investigate the effectiveness of their marketing and merchandising efforts, including the impact of internal promotions, coupons, and affiliate marketing programs.
