Darez Diggs is the world’s youngest footballer – he is 16 years old and was born in 1999. He was on the football team of the University of Alabama Blazers as an age-grouped high school athlete, but because of his talent, he quickly made a name for himself.
Diggs earned his first professional contract with Seattle Sounders FC in the United States Soccer League, a league that is below Major League Soccer.
